We believe that everyone can dance!
DeForest Dance Academy provides a fun and welcoming environment, experienced instructors, and two state of the art locations where all students can learn, gain confidence and have fun while growing a love for the art of dance.
In our Recreational Dance program, students can take one or more classes per week in a variety of dance styles. Alternatively, they may audition for our award-winning competitive team, Steppin’ Out Dance Company, which provides extensive year-round training across multiple dance styles.

The secret is out! Our Glen Ellyn studio is moving! But do not worry. We aren’t going far! We are just taking our next step to a new space.
Get ready for better amenities, more room to move, and the same incredible community you love.
We know how much this studio means to all of you, so we are keeping our new home right in the neighborhood to make sure our dancers don’t miss a beat.
What you can look forward to:
* Spacious Dance Rooms: More space for perfecting those leaps and turns.
* Family-Friendly Waiting Area: Kick back and relax while your dancer takes class.
* Large Locker Rooms: Additional restrooms and changing areas for dancers
* Exciting New Classes: Expanded programs for all ages and skill levels.
The new Glen Ellyn studio will be located at 525 Roosevelt Road at the west end of Market Plaza. Keep checking our social media pages for exciting updates, and for more information about our Open House and Fall Schedule coming in August.
We can’t wait to create more memories in the new Glen Ellyn space, and also celebrate our 20th year at our Elmhurst location! It will be an exciting dance season at DeForest Dance Academy!
